Consecrated Spaces
“If you live in a consecrated space, your evolution need not stick to the Darwinian scale– you can simply leapfrog.” – Sadhguru
Consecration is a live process
where a material substance is energized into the highest, subtlest possible reverberance. It is a science of transforming a stone, an empty space, or even one’s own body into a Divine possibility. A primary impetus in Sadhguru’s life has been to ensure that every man, woman and child has access to enhanced and energized spaces. He has said that if the necessary conditions and resources are available, he would like to consecrate the whole planet.
Dhyanalinga Yogic Temple
“Anyone who comes into the sphere of the Dhyanalinga cannot escape the sowing of the spiritual seed of liberation.” – Sadhguru
The Dhyanalinga Yogic Temple, situated at the Isha Yoga Center, is a tremendously energetic consecrated space. Dhyana in Sanskrit means ‘meditation,’ and linga means, ‘the form.’ As the unmanifest energy begins to manifest itself, the first form is always a linga or a perfect ellipsoid. Today, cosmologists have detected that the core of every galaxy is in the form of an ellipsoid. Similarly, when the manifest moves towards the unmanifest, the final form is also a linga. Since the first and the final form in creation is an ellipsoid, the linga is held as a doorway to the beyond. The ancient science of creating a linga is based on this.
Measuring 13 ft. 9 in., the Dhyanalinga is the largest mercury-based live linga in the world. The Dhyanalinga is a possibility to know life in its utmost depth, and to experience life in its totality. In the metaphysical sense, the Dhyanalinga is a living Guru, an energy center of tremendous proportions, and a doorway to enlightenment and spiritual liberation.
For the elliptical dome that houses the Dhyanalinga, only natural building material such as brick and mud mortar was used. The dome is an outstanding piece of engineering because unlike almost every other building which stands against gravity, the bricks of the dome are assembled together in such a way that the dome stands because of gravity. The nature of this design ensures a lifespan of at least 5000 years for the dome.
Linga Bhairavi Temple
“Those who earn the Grace of Bhairavi neither have to live in concern or fear of life or death, of poverty, or of failure. All that a human being considers as wellbeing will be theirs, if only they earn the Grace of Bhairavi.” – Sadhguru
Linga Bhairavi is the most exuberant expression of the Divine Feminine, residing in a triangular-shaped abode at the Velliangiri Foothills. Consecrated by Sadhguru through prana pratishtha, Linga Bhairavi envelops the devotee in her Grace and Presence, from birth to death and beyond. Linga Bhairavi is an absolute woman of ultimate proportions, fierce and compassionate at once.
